Question, I have the minilab mk2, and recently purchased the essential 61. I have the minifuse 2, and was wondering if it was possible to hook both controllers to have different sounds to play on a track. Meaning piano on one and electric synths on the other instead of using one keyboard and swithing?

Anybody know what's actually going on under-the-hood of this Arturia plugin? I have owned a few Aphex Hardware Exciters, including the one with Bass Bottom so I know what they are doing in the circuitry. But how does this plugin replicate that? I'm asking as most people on UA-cam bang on about how it does not affect the peak levels as it is working with psychoacoustics, but in my tests it affects the peak levels big time, pushing and clipping the signal beyond belief so, I suspect, in part there is some general EQ going on under-the-hood, which is not what the original hardware one did. So, what is actually happing in the coding of this plugin? It would be good if plugin people gave more info on the under-the-hood stuff as this is the most important element of a plugin. The guys who make Sausage Fattener refuse to say, because, I suspect, it's just some EQ stuff, no big deal. I really want to know what's happening in the engine of this Arturia plugin.

In my humble opinion, pushing gain into a movable ceiling is a rather awkward way to balance your final gain vs peaks. The fixed ceiling + output knob that Pro-L has is the finest I've ever seen this implemented. To each their own of course. I love the implementation of a clipper and frequency shaping, which can help shape the sound considerably (ala TDR Limiter 6). But I'm sorry to say that to make this plugin competitive it needs to be drastically optimized. At this time I've used it both in mixing and mastering sessions (where the rest of the plugin load is considerably less) and it has caused playback to either glitch or stop altogether, and my PC is way above average in terms of processing power... Hope for an update because I'd love to use this more!
